Therapy
What happens during the assessment/first session.
During the first session you will have the opportunity to discuss your hopes and your reasons for seeking psychological input. You can discuss any difficulties you are dealing with, what you would like to achieve, change or improve through therapy. This will be done at your own pace, without any pressure to talk about things you may find difficult.
The first session is a way for me to start to get to know you and understand how I can be of help. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions and share any thoughts about this process. By the end of the session, we will have a better idea of how therapy may help you and we will be able to discuss the next steps. The sessions can be offered in English or Greek, face to face, online or over the telephone. Face to face sessions take place in a comfortable consulting room in Bush Hill Park, Enfield in North London.
